Traveling to San Rafael
Getting to our small campo is a piece of cake. Follow the following instructions, and let us know if you have any questions.
- Your journey will begin at Caribe Tours in Santo Domingo. There are four buses that leave throughout the day.
- Once you arrive in Barahona, you can walk South towards the ocean four blocks looking for the “Parada de Paraíso.” (You can get a motorcycle taxi that will take for 75 pesos you if you do not want to walk.)
- Take the Paraíso bus (or as Dominicans say, guagua) from Barahona to Playa San Rafael. Let the person who takes your money (the ‘cobrador’) that you are going to Playa San Rafael.
- We are the first business on the beach sitting at the Eastern most point of the beach front, Caseta 1. You can ask anyone working where “Raylin and Elisa” are.
